The nuclear deal is worthless without ending the international agency's investigation, Iran

Tehran: Iran's President Ibrahim Raisi says that the nuclear deal is useless without ending the international agency's investigation.

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi said at a press conference that restoring the 2015 deal with world powers would be futile until the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) stops investigating undeclared sites.

He said it is meaningless to talk about an agreement without addressing security issues. The IAEA called obtaining samples of nuclear material a safeguards issue. These issues must be resolved before any contract can be renewed.

On the other hand, the US has asked Iran to cooperate with the international agency in the investigation of its 3 undeclared nuclear sites.
