ISTANBUL: The United Nations has warned that the prices of commodities have been rising continuously around the world and it is very important for commodities from Russia to reach the markets to reduce global inflation.
According to the World News Agency, the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in a conversation with journalists in the capital of Turkey, has expressed concern over the continuous increase in commodity prices due to the war between Russia and Ukraine.

The General Secretary of the United Nations also said that talks are ongoing with the United States and the European Union to remove obstacles in the delivery of Russian goods to the world market.
Last year, in the negotiations between Turkey and the United Nations, Russia and Ukraine agreed on the method of delivery of goods to the global markets, and the first shipment from Ukraine has reached Turkey.
Despite international pressure, Russia attacked Ukraine in February and the war between the two countries continues, due to which the delivery of goods to the world market has stopped.
It should be noted that against Russia's attack on Ukraine, the United States and European countries have imposed economic sanctions on Russia, including imports of commodities including petroleum products.
