UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed visits Egypt, talks with President Al-Sisi

 The President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held talks in the Egyptian city of El Alamein on Sunday.

The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen brotherly ties.

According to Emirates Today, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Al Alamein on a visit to Egypt on Sunday. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi gave a warm welcome.

The presidents of the UAE and Egypt held talks in a friendly atmosphere. Discussed to take mutual cooperation to new heights, explore new avenues of cooperation for consolidation of strategic partnership and build consensus on new possibilities.

In the meeting, emphasis was placed on strengthening the strategic partnership in the economic and development sectors and necessary measures for the sustainable development and prosperity of the people of the two brotherly countries.

The two leaders exchanged views on various issues and issues of mutual interest. Current regional and global situations were also discussed.


It was said in the meeting that diplomacy, understanding and dialogue must be resorted to to resolve crises and disputes through peaceful means. Peaceful resources are the guarantor of global peace and security.

The two leaders described Arab unity and consensus and stability in joint Arab struggle as indispensable in dealing with the challenges facing the Arab world.

 The determination was expressed that every effort to reach a sustainable solution to the crises in the region must be supported and both countries are in full agreement in this regard. This will strengthen the roots of peace and stability in the countries of the region. Peace and prosperity will be promoted.
