The 2nd Saudi International Maritime Forum will be held in Jeddah by the Saudi Navy under the auspices of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The forum will begin on November 15.
According to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA", the purpose of the forum will be to discuss and discuss the problems faced by maritime units and important coastal areas.The theme of the Forum is 'Protection of Maritime Units and Critical Coastal Sites from Illegal System Threats'.
There will be a number of discussions and workshops under the forum. Technology and industry experts, scholars and military watchers will attend. Besides, representatives of international companies, government institutions and ministries will also join.
On this occasion, there will also be an exhibition in which leading national, regional and international companies will showcase the latest equipment, technology and systems related to maritime peace and security.
Commander of the Saudi Navy, Lt. Gen. Fahad al-Ghafili, said that the importance of the forum has increased due to the patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It is being organized in such an environment while the region and the whole world is rapidly undergoing various changes.
