Admission to Jeddah University, more than 100,000 applications

 More than 100,000 students in Saudi Arabia have applied for the new academic year at Jeddah University through the electronic portal.

According to Arab News, Jeddah University spokesperson Al-Hijaz Al-Thaqafi said that the number of applicants in the university has reached 1300.

Jeddah University's Deanship of Admission and Registration has completed the scrutiny and processing of admission applications by the University Council based on the number of students in each program.

The undergraduate program has accepted applications from more than 7,21 students.

About 1,260 applications have been accepted for the College of Applied Diploma program.

The Applied College offers programs that meet the changing demands of the labor market such as tourist guidance, environmental protection technology, hotel and hospitality management.

Applications of more than 427 students who could not get admission in bachelor programs due to limited numbers have been accepted in qualifying programs in evening shift for the first time.

If students pass with a high grade point average, they will be offered admission to one of the regular programs.

Students are also admitted to other programs such as Science and Innovation, Sports, Holy Quran, Culture and Arts.
