Former governor Sarah Palin was defeated by Democratic candidate Mary Peltola in a special election for the US Congress. Mary Peltola will be the first Alaska Native member of Congress
He beat Sarah Palin by 3 percentage points, also in a state that former President Donald Trump won by 10 percentage points in 2020.
