An explosion outside a central mosque in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, has killed four people.
According to the French news agency AFP, an explosion occurred outside the main mosque of Wazir Akbar Khan in Kabul after Friday prayers.
The explosion took place a few minutes after the end of Friday prayers.
Wazir Akbar Khan's area is close to the Green Zone where many embassies were established before the Taliban came to power.

The management of a non-governmental organization hospital from Italy said that fourteen people injured in the explosion have been brought.
The organization said in a statement on Twitter that four of them were brought dead.
A Kabul police spokesman has confirmed the explosion and casualties but did not provide details.
In the year 2020, there was an explosion in the Wazir Akbar Khan mosque in which the imam was also killed.
The Taliban have generally claimed that the security situation in the country has improved since they assumed power. However, contrary to the Taliban's claim, there have been several explosions in different cities of Afghanistan in the past few years, in which mosques were also targeted.
Within a month and a half, two influential religious leaders of the Taliban have been killed in an explosion.
In early September, an explosion at a large mosque in the western city of Herat killed 18 people, including Taliban supporter and influential religious leader Mujeeb Rehman Ansari. While earlier on August 12, Rahimullah Haqqani was killed in a suicide attack on a seminary in Kabul.
Rahimullah Haqqani was a staunch opponent of ISIS and used to speak against the terrorist group. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack.
The United Nations has expressed concern over the increasing explosions in Afghanistan.
The responsibility of some of these explosions has been accepted by the local branch of Daesh "Khorasan".
