Famous Tamil actress Pauline Jessica's body has been found in a flat in Chennai, India, where she lived.
According to NDTV, Pauline Jessica, popularly known as Deepa, played the lead role in the recently released Tamil film 'Vaidh', while she has also acted in several films and serials before.
The neighbor of the actress had informed the police, on which the police reached and opened the flat and found the dead body of the actress hanging, which was sent for post-mortem.
Later, Deepa's relatives were informed and the body was handed over to them who took it to their native Andhra Pradesh.
The police are trying to find out who approached her before the incident. A day before the incident, the actress had reached her flat by auto-rickshaw.
Police are also investigating whether they took their own lives or someone forced them to do so.
According to the police, 'a suicide note has also been found in which the actress has given the reason for realizing the failure of a relationship.'
On the other hand, a report by Odisha TV said that the note found in the diary was allegedly written by Deepa herself, saying that she did not want to live.
The note further states that she had fallen in love with someone who did not acknowledge her love. That is why she is going to end her life.
The film industry is in a state of shock over Deepa's death and people associated with it are expressing their grief on social media.
