The court has postponed the indictment proceedings on the part of former Prime Minister Imran Khan to appear before the female Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry and apologize in the contempt of court case.
On Thursday, a five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minullah of the Islamabad High Court heard the contempt of court case against Imran Khan.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan appeared in front of the female Additional Sessions Judge Zeba Chaudhry and offered to apologize, saying, "It was never my intention to insult any judge."
He took the stand in front of the court that 'if you think that my statement was insulted, then I am ready to go to the lady judge and apologize.'
During the hearing, on Imran Khan's offer to apologize to Additional Sessions Judge Ziba Chaudhry, the Chief Justice said, "You submit the affidavit, we will postpone the indictment proceedings today."
Imran Khan said that I am ready to do whatever the court can satisfy. I wanted to talk but was not allowed to talk at the last hearing.
It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court had given two opportunities to Imran Khan in which Imran Khan did not apologize unconditionally. On the occasion of the last hearing, Imran Khan himself requested to come to the rostrum, which was rejected.
