Iran's Foreign Ministry has said Tehran has sent a "constructive" response to US proposals aimed at restoring the 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.
However, Iran's response from the United States was not very positive.
According to the Reuters news agency, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said on Friday that the text sent by Iran contains a constructive point of view aimed at finalizing the negotiations.
On the other hand, the US Department of State did not consider this response constructive.
"We can confirm that we have received Iran's response through the European Union," a White House spokesman said.

White House National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said: "Some gaps have been filled in recent weeks, but others remain."
Iran's response was sent to EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, who is coordinating the talks, the Iranian broadcaster reported. He did not give further details.
After 16 months of indirect talks between Tehran and Washington, Josep Borrell said on August 8 that the EU had made a final offer to break the deadlock to revive the deal.
Iran has sought strong guarantees from Washington to restore the 2015 nuclear deal.
Iran's foreign minister said on Wednesday that the UN nuclear watchdog should end "politically motivated investigations" into Tehran's nuclear activities.
