Iraq allowed 500,000 Iranian pilgrims to enter the country

 Iraq has allowed 500,000 pilgrims from Iran to visit Imam Hussain's Arbaeen through Al-Sheib port.

According to a report by Iraq's official news agency INA on Saturday, the authorities have taken necessary safety and health measures.

According to the officials, all the facilities will be provided to the visitors.

INA has said with reference to the officials that the concerned officers visited the border crossing between the two countries to review the facilities and measures.

Iraqi officials said that efforts are underway to ease the entry process for Iranian pilgrims.

Every year, millions of pilgrims come to Karbala, Iraq, for Arbaeen, where the shrine of Imam Hussain is located.
