Prime Minister presented in Islamabad High Court, assurance of recovery of missing persons

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif appeared in the Islamabad High Court in the case of recovery of missing persons. He assured the court that the missing persons will be reunited with their families.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minullah started the hearing of the case and talking to the Prime Minister said that you are the elected representative and chief executive of this country. This court has hurt you because it is a very big issue.

The Chief Justice said that this issue has been going on here for many months but the response of the state is not what it should have been. A chief executive ruled for 9 years and wrote in his book Fakhria that he used to send his people abroad. Several times this matter was sent to the federal government. The reaction of the federal cabinet also did not come that should have come.

The chief justice further said that if this court looks at the constitution, the chief executive has to look at it. This matter was sent to you, you formed a committee, but this is not a matter of the committee. The families of the missing persons are sitting, their suffering is very much. For several weeks, the families of the missing persons were sitting here in protest, but no one went to them. Even those who were recovered, no action was taken against those who lifted them.
