Mourning is in full swing in Edinburgh as people gather around the coffin of the late Queen of Great Britain, the procession continues through the night and tears flow as the new King Charles III leaves for Northern Ireland today and the Queen's coffin is returned to London.
The French news agency AFP has described the location where the coffin of the Queen of Great Britain is kept.

A little later, King Charles III also reached his siblings there in mourning. The Queen's casket was draped and decorated with a floral wreath in accordance with Scottish royal traditions.
Charles, 73, Royal Princess Anne, 72, Andrew, 62, Duke of York and Duke and Duchess of Wessex Edward, 58, stood with their eyes closed for ten minutes.
On Monday, King Charles III, along with his three siblings, walked alongside the Queen's coffin through the streets of Edinburgh, which were lined with mourners.
The Queen's coffin was flown from Balmoral, where she died, to the Scottish capital on Sunday and was kept overnight in the royal palace at Holyrood House.
The late Queen's coffin was then taken from the royal residence to St Giles for a requiem ceremony.
A one-minute gun salute was fired at the Queen's Royal Palace in Edinburgh as thousands of people lined the route through which the procession was to pass.
Queen Elizabeth II's funeral will take place on Monday, September 19 at 11am. The event will be held at Westminster Abbey. Westminster Abbey is the historic church where the kings and queens of Great Britain are crowned.
