Record increase in the number of travelers from Saudi Arabian and Emirates airlines

 The international organization 'IATA' has released a new report containing the statistics of travelers during 2022.

According to the Sabbaq website, the report states that the number of travelers during July 2022 has increased by 58.8% compared to July 2021.

The total number of travelers after the epidemic has increased by 74.6 percent compared to those who traveled worldwide before the corona epidemic.

The report said that the number of international passengers has increased by 150.6 percent compared to July 2021.

Passenger revenue per international flight kilometer increased by 67.9% compared to July 2019.

International Air Transport Organization Director General Wally Welsh has said that travel activity has picked up during July 2022. In some countries, the number of travelers has started to touch the limit of the pre-corona epidemic stage.

The report said that airlines in the Asia-Pacific region increased their travel activity by 528.8 percent during July 2022, while airlines in European countries achieved a target of 115.6 percent growth in this regard.

Middle East airlines continue to record growth. Among them, Saudi and UAE airlines recorded an increase of 193.1 percent, while North American airlines recorded a 129.2 percent improvement during July.

South American airlines carried 119.4 percent more passengers in July. In addition, African airlines earned 84.8 percent more revenue.
