The management of digital rental agency 'Ejarnetwork' says that the rental fee paid is non-refundable. An annual fee is fixed for making or renewing a new lease.

According to newspaper 24, the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and Housing has implemented a digital rental system for houses and commercial establishments in Saudi Arabia.

The system of digital rental names is called 'Ejaar'. The annual fee for the lease of a house or flat for residential purposes is fixed at 125 Rials, while the annual fee for the lease of places acquired for commercial purposes is 200 Rials, while the annual fee for its renewal is 400 Rials.

Ajarnet further said that the parties must agree on the terms of the lease, if one party does not agree, the lease cannot be registered in the network.

Regarding the rental fee, Ajarnet Network System said that the fee should be paid by the owner, but it is not mandatory, but it can be mutually agreed upon.

The rights and obligations of the parties are protected in the Digital Lease Law so that in case of any dispute, the relevant institution can be approached for justice.
