ISLAMABAD: United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit.
The Secretary General has come to Pakistan to express solidarity with the flood victims. He will also meet the flood victims.

Antonio Guterres has also been the High Commissioner for Refugees in the United Nations for 10 years and has always praised Pakistan's services in the fight against terrorism.
Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb welcomed the arrival of United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres to Pakistan and thanked him for showing solidarity in this difficult time.
He said that the Secretary General is visiting at a time when one third of Pakistan is submerged in floods. His visit will help highlight the problems and difficulties of the flood victims at the global level.
It should be noted that the Secretary General of the United Nations has issued a flash flood appeal of 160 million dollars to help the flood victims of Pakistan.
