The Saudi Ministry of Interior has added four facilities to the services available through the Abshar platform.
Director of Public Security Lt. Col. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Basami inaugurated four new services through Abshar on Monday.
According to Akaz newspaper, the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, is determined to make all matters related to the Ministry of Interior and its subordinate institutions online.
One of the four facilities that the director of public order has added to Abshar is online guarantee for the execution of various matters from government agencies. Thanks to this, guarantee processing on traffic accidents will be done online. There is no need to approach the traffic department for this.
Another facility is that the permit to carry weapons can be obtained online. There will be no need to approach the Ministry of Interior for this.
Saudi citizens and resident foreigners will be able to obtain permits online to repair their vehicles. For this they will not need to go to the traffic department.
Public transport vehicle services for the private sector will also be available online. For this too, one will not have to approach the offices.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Home Affairs is conducting more than 350 jobs online from its various institutions through the e-platform Abshar.
