40 Years of Unwavering Efforts, World Needs China: Xi Jinping

 After being elected as the President of China for the third time, President Xi Jinping has said that "the world needs China".

According to the news agency AFP, the Chinese president said on Sunday that "China cannot develop without the world, and the world needs China in the same way."

He said that after 40 years of unwavering efforts for reforms, we have created two miracles which are economic development and long-term social stability.

On the other hand, for the first time there is no woman in the top leadership of the Chinese Communist Party.

This is the first time in the last 25 years that no woman has been included in the top leadership of the Communist Party.

Sun Chunlin, the only female member of the Communist Party of China's expiring term Politburo, has retired and no replacement has been named.

Earlier on Saturday, 0,023 congressional delegates voted unanimously in favor of President Xi Jinping, who was re-elected party secretary-general for another five-year term.

Xi Jinping officially began his third term as president on Sunday.

Xi Jinping, who took power from Hu Jintao 10 years ago, has become China's most powerful leader since Mao Zedong.
