Arab News has reported on Monday with reference to the Saudi Department of Statistics that the number of flights in the year 2021 was 497,000.

Of these, four million passengers have traveled through Saudi Airlines.
The report of the Saudi Department of Statistics said that the number of flights arriving and departing from Saudi Arabia in 2021 was 126,000, which is 20% more than in 2020.
In this period, the number of local flights was about 371 thousand with an increase of 53% compared to last year.
According to the report, Shah Khalid International Airport was the first, Shah Abdulaziz International Airport was second and Shah Fahad International Airport was third.
