Five new mineral exploration projects in Riyadh, Asir and Medina

 Saudi Minister of Industry and Minerals Bandar Al Kharif has said that there is a plan to auction five licenses for mineral exploration in Riyadh, Asir and Madinah next year.

According to newspaper 24, the Saudi Minister of Industry said in a statement that local and foreign investors are being given an opportunity to explore copper, zinc, silver and lead mines.

This presentation has been made in the context of the participation of the Ministry of Industries and Minerals in the World Conference on Minerals in Sydney from November 2 to 4.

Permits will be issued for exploration of minerals in Madinah Munawarah region over an area of ​​187 square kilometers in the Mahduzhab Commissionerate where copper and zinc are likely to be present.

On the other hand, a permit will be issued for the exploration of raw zinc and silver in an area of ​​more than 78 square kilometers at Al-Dawadami Commissionerate of Riyadh Region.

 There are large deposits of silver, copper, zinc and lead in an area of ​​more than 246 square kilometers in the area of ​​Umm Hadid in Al-Quwaiya Commissionerate of Riyadh, which will be worked on.

Apart from this, deposits of zinc, lead, copper and iron will be explored in an area of ​​283 square kilometers in Jabal Al Shaiba in Trinity Commissionerate of Asir Region. Here are their raw deposits.

The area of ​​Jabal Adsaas in Al-Quwaiya Commissionerate of Riyadh Region is spread over a large area of ​​more than 121 square kilometers. There are good amount of iron ore deposits here.

The Saudi Ministry of Industries and Minerals will invite tenders from companies interested in mineral exploration at all five locations.
