Suspect arrested in Sidhu Musewala murder escapes from police custody

 New Delhi: The accused arrested in the murder of Indian singer Sidhu Musewala escaped from police custody.

Accused Deepak Tinu is one of the close associates of the alleged gangster Lawrence Bishnoi involved in the singer's murder.

Indian media have claimed from police sources that Tinu Deepak has escaped from the custody of Mansa Police Crime Investigation Agency.

Punjab Police brought the accused from Tihar Jail to Delhi on 4th July on transit remand.

Renowned singer and politician Sidhu Musewala was murdered near his home in May this year.

So far, 30 people who belong to Bishnoi group have been identified in connection with the murder, while 24 people have been arrested in the murder case so far.
