The body of Hemant Kumar Lohia, Director General of Indian-administered Kashmir Jail, has been recovered from his residence in Jammu.
The police say that the domestic worker is allegedly involved in the murder. According to NDTV, 57-year-old Hemant Kumar Lohia's throat has been cut, while there are also burn marks on the body.

Similarly, another sentence is written that 'I have no problem with the life I am living, the problem is what will happen next.'
According to the police, Yasir Ahmed, a resident of Ramban, was working at Hemant Kumar's house for six months.
It has also been stated by the police that "in the initial investigation, no connection with terrorism has been revealed yet, but it is likely in further investigation."
This incident of the killing of a senior officer has come to light at a time when Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to the state.
Hemant Lohia was posted in this area only two months ago. He was staying with his family at a friend's house while the renovation work was going on in the official house given to him.
