The spokesperson of the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nizaha) in Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Al-Hussein, has said that the deposed vice-chancellor of King Abdulaziz University Jeddah is allegedly involved in corruption of more than 500 million riyals.
Speaking in Al Arabiya channel program, the spokesman said that other members of the university are also involved in the corruption case. They belong to all categories of the university from top officials to ordinary workers.

The spokesman has said that the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority has imposed necessary restrictions to prevent the use of embezzled money.
"Proceedings are being taken to return the embezzled money to the public treasury. Anyone who cleans his hands on the national treasury will be arrested and punished."
It should be remembered that King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued royal decrees on Thursday, dismissing King Abdulaziz Jeddah's vice-chancellor and directing the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority to complete legal proceedings.
The resignation was recommended by the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority, which said that "the vice-chancellor was involved in forgery, money laundering and misappropriation of King Abdulaziz University's treasury, as well as taking undue advantage of influence and influence for personal gain."
