A Saudi Air Force fighter jet crashed during a military exercise

Riyadh: A Saudi Arabian Air Force F-15 fighter jet crashed during a training exercise, but the pilots managed to jump out of the plane before falling to the ground.

According to Saudi media, during a training exercise at King Abdulaziz Air Base, an F-15 fighter jet suddenly hit the ground during the flight. As the plane fell, it caught fire and the plane turned into a pile of debris.

Both the pilots managed to exit the plane with the help of modern evacuation chairs. The pilots landed safely on the ground. There was no loss of life or property at the place where the plane fell.

In the area where the plane crashed, the Houthi rebels had attacked in the past, but the spokesman of the coalition forces, Turki Al-Maliki, denied the element of terrorism in the incident and said that the plane was destroyed due to a technical fault.

In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Defense, it has been said that an investigation committee has been formed to find out about the technical failure of the F-15S aircraft.
