Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian addressed the Taiwanese authorities and demanded that Taiwan stop cooperating with foreign forces, which could endanger the peace of the region.
Britain has not commented on China's claim that a British minister is due to visit Taiwan.
It should be noted that China had raised strong objections and threatened the visit of US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan. During the visit, Chinese aircraft continued to fly over Taiwan, to which the US warned that any aggression would be responded to.
