FIFA World Cup; Ticket sales records were broken

 KARACHI: FIFA World Cup ticket sales have also broken records, despite the negative propaganda, about 3 million tickets have been sold before the first match.

The FIFA World Cup has started in Qatar on Sunday, a full propaganda campaign was conducted in the western media on various issues including the violation of human rights in the host country, despite this, a large number of fans are heading to Qatar from all over the world. Around 3 million tickets had been sold before the start of the match.

According to FIFA, the record $7.5 billion in revenue generated by the World Cup comes from ticket sales.

The spokesman said that a total of 2.95 million tickets had been sold by Sunday, with fans taking great interest in the 64 matches scheduled over 29 days, with long queues of fans in front of FIFA's ticket center in Doha. Fans had to wait a long time to get it.

The Qatar World Cup has already surpassed the event played in Russia in 2018 in terms of ticket sales, where 2.4 million tickets were sold throughout the tournament.

A FIFA spokesman said that Qatar, Saudi Arabia, America, Mexico, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, France, India and Brazil are among the prominent countries in terms of ticket buyers.
