"Five Iranian missiles hit a building used by the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran," Tariq al-Haidari, mayor of Kosanjani, a Kurdish Iraqi region, told AFP.
Iraqi Kurdistan's Ministry of Health said that one person was killed and eight were injured.
Other attacks took place elsewhere in Iraq's autonomous Kurdistan region, where officials said there were "no immediate casualties."
Iran had previously launched cross-border missile and drone strikes that killed more than a dozen people in Iraq's Kurdistan region in late September.
Kurdish armed groups based there have since been accused of fueling the wave of unrest that has rocked the Islamic Republic.
Iran has been rocked by protests for almost two months since the death of Mehsamini, a 22-year-old Kurdish Iranian woman.
