Pakistan and UAE agree to increase mutual cooperation in all sectors including economy

 Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to deepen mutual cooperation in all sectors including economy, trade, energy and investment.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this agreement was reached in a meeting between the Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meeting took place on the occasion of the annual Sir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi.

The Foreign Minister thanked the UAE leadership for their generous assistance to the flood-affected people in Pakistan. The Foreign Minister said that the generous assistance provided by the UAE to the flood-affected people in Pakistan is a manifestation of the deep and fraternal relations between the two countries, which have stood by each other in times of need.

He said that the United Arab Emirates has always been one of the largest donors of humanitarian aid and assistance to Pakistan in difficult times.

The Foreign Minister congratulated his UAE counterpart on the successful hosting of the annual Sir Bani Yas Forum.

Both the foreign ministers emphasized the importance of relations between Pakistan and UAE and agreed to deepen cooperation in all sectors including economy, trade, energy and investment. The foreign minister stressed the need to increase the volume of trade and investment between the two countries. Both leaders discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest and agreed to continue close cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
