The player drafting ceremony of the eighth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held on December 15 in the coastal city of Karachi.
According to the PSL management, the venue and date of the player drafting ceremony has been decided with the consent of all the franchises.
Usmanwala, director of the mega event, says that with all the best players available in the PSL, he hopes it will be a good tournament as always.The eighth edition of PSL will be played from February 9 to March 19 in Lahore, Multan, Karachi and Rawalpindi. Defending champions Lahore Qalandar will defend their title in PSL 8.
Earlier, it was said by the PSL administration that Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan, South Africa's David Miller, England's David Mullan, Afghanistan's Mujibur Rahman, Sri Lanka's Vinandu Hasaranga, England's Alex Hales, Australia's Aaron Finch and New Zealand's Jimmy Neesham also feature.
15 players from the Netherlands, the team that helped Pakistan reach the semi-finals by defeating South Africa in the recent T20 World Cup, will also be present for the PSL draft.
Apart from this, 10 players from Scotland, 25 from UAE and 10 from Canada have also shown interest in playing PSL.
According to the PSL administration, 43 from Afghanistan, 14 from Australia, 28 from Bangladesh, 139 from England, 9 from Ireland, 6 from New Zealand, 25 from South Africa, 60 from Sri Lanka for the drafting of the mega event of Pakistani cricket. , 38 players from West Indies and 11 players from Zimbabwe will also be present.
