Riyadh Economic Forum 10 opens today, discussions on economic issues will take place

 On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz will inaugurate Riyadh Economic Forum 10 on Monday.

According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the Riyadh Economic Forum will continue for three days, in which government officials, economic experts and scholars and investors will participate.

Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has said that in order to deal with the challenges faced in the forum, there will be discussions on the restructuring of the structure of the national economy, the strategy of stabilizing the foundations of the national economy, and development and economic issues.
According to Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan, thanks to the patronage of King Salman, the quality of the forum will be high and the morale of its organizers will be strong.

He said that the Riyadh Forum has been making important recommendations for the improvement of the national economy. Its emphasis is on development of infrastructure and development of national manpower. The participants of the forum have been reviewing the efficient use of natural resources.

Dr. Khalid Al-Rajhi, Chairman of the Riyadh Economic Forum, said that four basic studies will be discussed in the 10th edition of the forum. Connecting all regions of the kingdom with railway line, its impact in promotion of tourism and logistics services, assessment of coordination of related institutions in issuing regulations of fees, taxes and zakat, assessment of challenges regarding independent business, new investments. An overview of digital transformation and the knowledge economy will be presented.

Dr. Khalid Al-Rajhi said that the forum has issued 308 recommendations and initiatives by presenting 49 in-depth reviews over the past years.
