"There is no age limit for golden residence in UAE"

 In the United Arab Emirates, the Abu Dhabi Public Services Authority (TAM) has said that Golden Iqama holders are not granted permanent residency in the state.

According to Emirates Al-Youm, the Abu Dhabi Government Services Agency says that "Abu Dhabi has the facility of Golden Iqama for certain categories of people." This Iqama is given to creators, scholars, investors and people with unique ability.

Golden Iqama visa is long term. It is extended every five or ten years.

The extension of Iqama is under the prescribed category, however, issuance of Golden Iqama does not mean permanent Iqama.

The Abu Dhabi government says that there is no age limit for Golden Iqama. A person belonging to one of the approved categories is given an opportunity to apply for the issuance of a Golden Iqama Visa.

Individuals who meet the required criteria can apply and get Golden Iqama.
