At a meeting of G7 foreign ministers, it was agreed that an agreement was being reached to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions.
According to the AFP news agency, the foreign ministers of the world's richest countries held a two-day meeting in the Liverpool area of north-west England in which a strong and united commitment was made to stay safe from global threats.British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, host of the G-7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting, said the resumption of talks in Vienna was the last chance for Iran to come to the negotiating table with a serious resolution.
"Iran still has time to come and agree on this agreement," British Foreign Secretary Liz Tros told a news conference.
The summit's final statement said it was still possible for Iran to halt its nuclear tensions and seize the opportunity to reach an agreement.
It should be noted that talks have resumed between Iran and the world powers to try to restore the 2015 agreement, which was withdrawn by the United States in 2018 under President Donald Trump.
Iran claims it only wants to promote its civilian plans, but Western powers say its enriched uranium stockpile far exceeds that and could be used to make nuclear weapons.
It should be noted that US President Joe Biden has said that he is ready to return to the agreement and Iranian officials say that they are serious about negotiations.
