Kuwaiti authorities on Monday announced a temporary suspension of all indoor social events.
According to Arab News, the ban will take effect from Sunday to February 28 and is aimed at curbing the growing number of corona virus cases.The Kuwaiti cabinet made the decision during its weekly meeting and said it would continue to monitor the country's epidemic situation throughout the year.
The cabinet also announced that all passengers are required to undergo a PCR test 72 hours before their arrival in the country by Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Health, 982 new cases of corona virus have been reported so far, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 419,314.
The health ministry also said that 171 patients had recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, with no deaths reported.
