ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of Pakistan Army Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that today marks the fifth anniversary of Operation Redalfsad.
In a tweet on the social networking site Twitter, the DG ISPR said that Operation Redalfsad was aimed at consolidating the benefits of the two-decade-long war on terror and eradicating terrorist remnants across the country. He said that the main objective of the operation was to ensure security of Pakistani people.
The DG ISPR said that the operation continued successfully, as a result of which the country emerged from the precarious situation and became peaceful.
The DG ISPR said in a tweet that the Army Chief said that we salute the sacrifices of the martyrs and the determination and courage of the people.
