Sanaa: Just hours after the Houthis announced a three-day ceasefire, the Arab League launched airstrikes in Yemen.
According to Saudi Arabia's Al-Akhbariya TV, the attacks targeted the Houthi-held capital Sanaa at midnight, beginning with Houthi camps and their strongholds.
The attacks came shortly after the Houthis announced a three-day ceasefire. The Houthis offered peace talks to Saudi Arabia on the condition that it end its airstrikes and blockade of Yemen while removing foreign forces.
Just a day earlier, Houthis had fired drones and missiles at 16 targets in Saudi Arabia, setting an oil plant on fire near Jeddah's Formula One track.
