According to the Saudi Press Agency, the King Faisal Award ceremony was held in Riyadh in which Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Prince Faisal bin Abdul Aziz bin Faisal and other important people also participated.
In his address, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Sabeel, General Secretary of the King Faisal Award, said,
It should be noted that the award for service to Islam was given to former President of Tanzania Ali Hassan Moini and Professor Hassan Mahmoud Al Shafi'i.
The award for Arabic Dictionary and Literature was given to Prof. Suzanne Stetkeftash and Prof. Mohsen Mousavi.
The Medical Award has been given to Prof. David Lloyd, the Science Award has been given to Prof. Martin Haier and Prof. Nadir Al Masmoudi.
