Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia called on Rawalpindi Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Issues of mutual interest including regional security were discussed during the meeting.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, the current situation in Afghanistan and bilateral defense relations were discussed during the meeting between the Saudi Foreign Minister and the Army Chief. On the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Saudi Arabia recognizes its unique status in the Islamic world and valued fraternal and historical relations with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
