Workers continue to arrive at PTI's well-known meeting in Islamabad

 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers from Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Hazara continue to arrive at the parade ground of the federal capital Islamabad to attend the well-known meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).


The workers include women arriving in Islamabad by buses, cars and wagons. On the other hand, workers of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) continue to arrive in Islamabad for the Inflation March and meeting of PDM, an alliance of opposition parties.



Prime Minister Imran Khan in his audio message last night appealed to the people to reach the venue as soon as possible and termed today's meeting as a war for the future of Pakistan.

City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has completed traffic arrangements for a meeting of political parties in Islamabad. According to Chief Traffic Officer Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad, more than 370 traffic police personnel have been deployed to maintain the flow of traffic.


Naveed Irshad said that traffic would be diverted to alternative routes during rallies on major highways. A special traffic plan has been developed for ambulances and emergency vehicles in case of any emergency.


According to CTO Rawalpindi, diversion is done for the convenience of citizens and to avoid rush hour. Additional personnel have been deployed at diversion points and alternative routes to facilitate the citizens.


There will be additional traffic duty at all points to facilitate the citizens and maintain the flow of traffic. Citizens should avoid unnecessary travel on Murree Road during rallies. Citizens can get information about traffic situation from helpline numbers and radio station 88.6.
