New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor's nurse and her husband have been arrested on charges of stealing crores of rupees from her residence in Delhi.
According to Indian media reports, police said that Aparna Rath Wilson was the nurse of the actress' mother-in-law while her husband Naresh Kumar Sagar was an accountant in a private company.
The theft took place on February 11 and a report was lodged on February 23 stating that cash and jewelery worth about Rs 24 million had been stolen.
The incident was reported by Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja's house manager, who has more than 20 employees in her house.
The senior police officer said that the Delhi Police Crime Branch raided the Sreeta Vihar area and arrested the accused and her husband.
However, the stolen cash and jewelery are yet to be recovered.
