Riyadh: Saudi billionaire Prince Walid bin Talal has rejected an offer from Tesla owner Elon Musk to buy the social media platform Twitter.
According to foreign media, Saudi Prince Walid bin Talal said in a statement released from his Twitter account that the offer made by Elon Musk for Twitter is not in line with its growth value.
"As the second largest partner of Twitter, I reject this offer," he said.

Earlier in the day, Elon Musk, head of Tesla and private space company, had offered to buy Twitter for 43 43 billion. And their total value is about 3 billion dollars.
Elon Musk is the largest shareholder in Twitter.
Elon Musk's offer is 54 54.20 per share, which represents a premium of 38% of the stock's closing price on April 1.
