Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has become the highest tax paying actor in India.
According to media reports, Akshay is the single highest tax payer in the entertainment industry. He was awarded a special certificate by the Income Tax Department for paying taxes honestly.

The report stated that the said actor had paid the highest tax even earlier and this time Akshay was also awarded with a certificate 'Saman Patra' as an honour.
The famous actor is currently in UK for the shooting of his new film due to which his team received the certificate issued by the tax department. Fans also appreciated Akshay.
It may be remembered that Akshay Kumar was last seen in his film 'Samrat Prithviraj'.
