ISLAMABAD: National Electricity Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved to increase the price of electricity for K Electric consumers by Rs 9.42 per unit.
NEPRA has approved to increase the price of electricity for Karachi consumers to Rs 9.42 per unit. The increase in electricity price has been made in the context of May's monthly fuel adjustment. A NEPRA spokesperson said that the increase in electricity price is Rs 9.42 per unit. NEPRA had earlier approved an increase of Rs 9.66 per unit.
According to K Electric officials, K Electric owes Rs 380 billion. Chairman NEPRA said that if NEPRA needs NEPRA to get cheap electricity, we are here. We are ready to talk to the federal and provincial governments for cheap electricity.
