Ukraine 'huge loss', grain company owner killed in Russian attack

The British news agency Reuters quoted Vitaly Kim, the governor of the city of Mykolaiv, as saying that the founder and owner of the agricultural company Nebulon, Olesky Vidatrsky, along with his wife, were attacked while they were at their home.

Nibulon produces as well as exports wheat, barley and maize. It also has its own shipyard and cargo supply ships.

"More than 12 powerful missiles were fired at the area and houses and schools were also targeted," says Oleksandr Senkevich, the mayor of Mykoliv. Three people have also been injured in the attacks.

On Sunday, reports of more attacks also came out, but no details about casualties or any damage could be revealed.

On the other hand, the governor of the city of Sitapol, which has been taken over by Russia, Mikhail Razozyev, told the local media that a heavy explosion occurred after the flight of a drone at a base of Russian soldiers in the Black Sea, injuring five soldiers.

He blamed Ukraine for the attack. Reuters has not been able to independently confirm this.

A member of Russia's upper house, Olga Kovitedi, told the state-run RIA news agency, "The attack is definitely external, but it happened from within the boundaries of Sevastopol."
