Bangkok: 13 people were killed and 41 injured in a fire incident at a night club in Thailand.
According to foreign media, a fire broke out in the Club Mountain B night spot in the southeastern province of Chonburi late at night, which quickly engulfed the large area.

Videos of the incident surfaced on the internet in which people are seen running out of the club screaming and their clothes on fire. As soon as the incident was reported, the fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control within 2 hours.
Among the dead are 4 women and 9 men whose bodies were found near the door, toilet and DJ booth. All the people were local citizens.
The police have started an investigation to find out the cause of the fire. Thai Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha has asked club owners across the country to build emergency exits.
It should be noted that in 2009, a similar incident took place in Bangkok when 60 people died due to a fire in a night club.
