23 people killed in Iraq clashes, curfew imposed in the country

In Baghdad, hundreds of supporters of Muqtada al-Sadr's announcement of his departure from politics stormed the presidential palace located in a very tight security area. The video of the protesters swimming in the luxurious swimming pool of the presidential palace went viral on social media.

Political deadlock continues in Iraq after last year's elections and political parties have been involved in forming a coalition government.
