5 percent reward on anonymous property report of Waqf

 The Saudi Awqaf Department has said that anyone who reports anonymous waqf properties will be rewarded with five percent of the value of the discovered waqf property.

According to Al-Watan newspaper, there are a good number of waqf properties in various places in Saudi Arabia which are not on record. From time to time, the Saudi government draws the public's attention to provide reliable information on anonymous waqf properties.

The Awqaf Department has pointed out that if the anonymous property of the Waqf is reported by an official of the department or any of his relatives up to the fourth degree, then this award will not be given to him. They will be excluded from the said prize offer.

The endowment department has said that the fixed reward on the anonymous property will be given after the completion of the process.

The Saudi Awqaf Department has established a special committee to identify and prosecute anonymous endowment properties.
