A man has been arrested in Saudi Arabia for smuggling 54 kg of drugs.
According to the official news agency SPA, security forces stopped and searched the vehicle in Jazan area and found 54 kilograms of drugs.
The accused has been handed over to the concerned authorities, where further action will be taken.
This arrest has taken place at a time when the country is cracking down on the smuggling of illegal goods.
Earlier this week, Saudi authorities arrested 70 people who were trying to bring about 70 tons of khat and 618 kilograms of hashish into the kingdom.
