The flood water is standing several feet due to which the relief operations are facing difficulties. Due to the non-release of frozen Afghan funds by international forces, the government is suffering from severe financial crisis. Lack of funds is also a hindrance in relief work.
The Taliban government, which was established in Afghanistan in August last year, also lacks machinery and expert rescue teams. The government has appealed to the international organizations to help the Afghan people.
