After India, Myanmar also decided to buy cheap petrol from Russia

Yangon: The occupying military rulers of Myanmar have decided to import oil from Russia in view of rising oil prices, thus Myanmar has become the second country in South Asian countries to buy oil from Russia after India.

According to the American Broadcasting Agency, the spokesman of the military ruler who overthrew the democratic government in Myanmar last year has said that due to the rising international prices of petroleum products, he has decided to buy cheap oil from Russia.

The spokesman of the military ruler added that the petrol received from Russia is not only of good quality but also cheap. Our country is facing an economic crisis due to global sanctions, in this situation it is necessary to buy cheap oil.

Myanmar's military ruler Min Aung visited Russia last month during which oil import issues were settled. Apart from this, Myanmar, with the cooperation of China and Russia, will also work on the exploration of oil wells.

On the other hand, Russia, which is worried about not buying oil from Europe, is trying to find a new buyer for the sale of oil. Therefore, the oil deal with Myanmar was concluded without any problems.

It should be noted that the petrol pumps were closed in Myanmar last week and the country is facing a shortage of oil, but the shipment of oil from Russia is expected to arrive by September, which is likely to remove the shortage of petrol in the country.
