Another BJP member of the assembly arrested for insulting the Prophet

 Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party leader T Raja Singh has been arrested for making insulting comments about the Prophet.

According to Indian news agencies, T. Raja Singh, a Hindu extremist member of the BJP assembly from Telangana state, was arrested on Tuesday for making insulting comments in honor of the Holy Prophet. According to the police, a case has been registered against T Raja Singh for insulting religious beliefs.

Earlier, protests started in various areas and outside police stations, including Hyderabad, after the video of the BJP leader's insulting comments went viral. The protestors said that T Raja Singh has hurt the sentiments of Muslims by insulting the glory of the Prophet.

The protestors were demanding the immediate arrest of the insolent MLA, after which the police took action and arrested T Raja Singh.

It should be noted that earlier BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has also made insulting statements in honor of the Holy Prophet, while the Indian government and the Supreme Court have asked Nupur Sharma to apologize on several occasions in the so-called process. Relief was also granted.
